About Superstition Springs AZ

Rather than an incorporated town, Superstition Springs AZ is more of a neighborhood. This large area is home to 11,000 residents. It’s also where you’ll find the Superstition Springs Center and the Superstition Automall.

Superstition Springs and its Neighbors

The area known as Superstition Springs AZ is bordered by the Superstition Golf Course to the west. Eastern borders include S. Sossaman Road and E. Guadalupe Road. Northern borders include E. Southern Avenue.

Superstition Springs is part of Mesa Az, third largest town in Phoenix. With a population of 548,000, Mesa is second only to Phoenix and Tucson. At the southwestern tip, the neighborhood is along the Meas-Gilbert border. The fifth largest city in Arizona, Gilbert has almost 250,000 residents.

Area commuters fan out every morning. They are headed to the other side of Mesa, into Gilbert, or beyond. Some will stay close by, going to work in the many stores and restaurants that serve area residents.

Things to Do in Superstition Springs

Superstition Springs Center is a large shopping mall.  It is home to anchor stores such as Macy’s, Dillards, and JC Penney. The mall has many favorite restaurants, and the area around it has even more dining choices.

Entertainment is another reason the area stays busy.  Located in the mall, the Picture Show theaters feature electric recliners and other perks.  Also on campus, the Superstition Springs Outdoor Amphitheater hosts different events.

Even bigger, the Harkins Theaters offer 25 screens at its nearby location.  If you are looking for culture, you can head to the Mesa Arts Center for its theaters or art galleries.

There’s plenty of golf to be found.  Superstition Springs Golf Club is a 7,000-yard course with a 72 par rating. The Desert Sands Golf Course is a par 65 course spanning 4,000 yards.  If that’s not enough choices, you can head north to Coyote Run, Fountain of the Sun, or the Arizona Golf Resort.  In Gilbert, Augusta Ranch offers an 18-hole, par-61 course.

State Route 88 rolls through the Superstition Mountains, revealing tall hoodoos and deep canyons. It’s best to have a Toyota TRD Off-road model if you want to tackle the dirt portion of the road.

There are so many technologies to try out and so many different aspects to consider. When you test drive several SUVs in the same day, you can feel more secure when you make a decision on which ride you want to buy.
